1. What Data We Collect

When you use BrightBridgeLabs, we collect the following:

• Session ID: A random identifier generated per search session. It is not linked to any user account, email address, or personal identity. It is used solely to associate your search with any affiliate clicks you make during that session.
• Search Inputs: The business description, keywords, style preference, industry, and TLD selections you submit when generating business name ideas.
• IP Address and User Agent: When you click a “Register” affiliate link, we log your IP address and browser user agent alongside the affiliate click record. This is used to fulfill affiliate tracking requirements and to detect abuse.

We do not collect email addresses, create user accounts, or require any login to use BrightBridgeLabs.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above to:

• Generate AI-powered business name suggestions in response to your search inputs.
• Check domain availability for generated names.
• Track affiliate referrals when you click a domain registration link (required by our affiliate program).
• Improve name generation quality by reviewing search inputs and AI outputs over time.
• Detect and prevent abuse of the service.

3. Third-Party Services

BrightBridgeLabs shares data with the following third parties as part of normal service operation:

• OpenAI: Your search inputs (description, keywords, style, industry, TLDs) are sent to OpenAI’s API to generate business name ideas. OpenAI’s privacy policy governs their handling of this data. We do not send your IP address or session ID to OpenAI.
• Dynadot / GoDaddy: When you click a “Register” domain link, you are redirected through an affiliate tracking URL. These registrars may set their own tracking cookies or pixels. We earn a commission on qualifying registrations at no additional cost to you.

4. Data Retention

Search inputs, AI outputs, domain availability results, and API request logs are retained indefinitely. Affiliate click records (including IP address and user agent) are retained indefinitely. We do not have an automated deletion policy for this data at this time.

5. Cookies

BrightBridgeLabs does not set any cookies. Session tracking is handled using a server-side random session ID that is not stored in your browser. Third-party services (such as Dynadot or GoDaddy) may set their own cookies when you are redirected to their site.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information beyond IP address and user agent in the affiliate click log, there is limited personal data to access or delete. If you have questions about data we may hold related to an IP address, contact us.
